Kenya Okumura

Mr. Okumura joined Sekisui House, Ltd. in 2001. He was mainly involved in sales of custom-built homes. In 2005, he was transferred to the Osaka Head Office, where he worked in the Accounting and Finance Department, and was in charge of financial statements and cash management. In 2015, he was transfered to the Sekisui House Corporate Pension Fund, where he served as the administrative director for 5 years. In August 2020, he returned to the Finance Department in the Head Office, where he was no longer in charge of pensions on a full-time basis, but continued to serve as a member of the Investment Committee. Since March 2022, he has been wearing a double hat as Investment Managing Director of the Pension Fund and a senior member in the Finance Department at Head Office, where he is involved in both the Pension Fund (as an institutional investor) and the Finance Department (operation the corporate bond issuer).
